一緒にいた友人はこのゲームを持っており、面白いとのこと。
すでに武器レベルが上げられており、残気数も大量だったので、初心者の私でも最終面付近のボスラッシュぐらいまで行けたと思う。
あまりの面白さにびっくりした。パズル的ゲーム性、スピード感、爽快感、グラフィックの格好よさもよいのだが、なによりもそのストーリー、悲壮感漂うドラマ性に衝撃を受けた。あまりに興奮してその夜は眠れなかった。
わたしかシューティングゲームを好きになり、シューティングゲームにドラマ性を求めるようになったのはこのゲームに因る。
残念ながら開発チームはすでに解散しているそうで、続編は望めないそうだ。
同開発チームによる2作目「斑鳩」はSwitchで比較的早期に出されたので遊べた。実質3作目にあたる？「gradiusu V」はまだ遊べていない。
radiant silvergunは権利の関係でサターン以外ではX boxに移植されているぐらいで、なかなかプレイできない伝説的なゲームであった。
それがこのたび遂に！つい先日Switchでリリースされて感激した。任天堂様ありがとう！
Saturn版のradiant silvergunは上記の友人から打ってもらい、今でも私の貴重品箱のなかで眠っています。
