俺が子供のころ近所に失明公園っていう公園があった
その公園で遊んでいると失明するっていう噂があってそう呼ばれてたんだけど
その噂をしってる人は近寄らなかった
実際に失明した人がいるのかは知らないけど目が痛くなったっていう人は同級生にたくさんいた
だから学校の先生もその公園で遊ばないようにって言ってた
いろいろ心霊的な噂はあったけど、結局数年後に失明公園の隣の団地に住んでるおっさんがレーザーポインターあててたってことで逮捕されてた（引用終わり）
某掲示板の有名ないわゆる都市伝説である．ただし，私は，この「都市伝説」は単なる創作ではなく，多分に真実を含んでいる，それどころかほぼ真実ではないかとさえ思っている．私の体験を述べる．
中学生の時，自転車で学校から帰宅する途中であった．学ランを着ていたのでそれなりに日が短い季節だったと思う．すっかり日が落ちていた．周囲は山と田んぼの極めて田舎で街頭はまばら，10メートルも離れると顔が見えなくなるぐらい周囲は暗かった．自転車で走行中，目に虫がはいったような鋭い痛みがあり自転車を止めた．なんとなく学ランの袖に目をやると，赤い点が動いている．虫かと思ったが，ふと足元をみると，赤い点が今度はアスファルトの地面の上をふらふらと動いていた．どうやら虫ではなくてレーザーらしい．周囲が暗いこともあり，どこから発射されたものかわわからず，確証はなかった．当時の私はそれがとても珍しい現象に感じ，一緒に帰っていた友人にそのことを伝えた．しかし，その友人はまったく興味を示さなかった．私の目の前で動く赤い点を友人に見せれば，友人も納得するだろうと思い，そのように説明したが，友人は興味を示さず，近くに見に来ることもなかった．動く赤い点からレーザーの発生源の情報が得られないかと，赤い点をじっとみた．すると再び目に鋭い痛みがあった．目を閉じ，うずくまるようにして目を守った．やはり，目の前には赤い点がある．当初私は，ポインターの持ち主がポインターをいじっている時に，偶然近くを通りかかった私に照射した，そのように考えていた．しかし，2回続いたため，これは偶然ではなく，強い意図があると思った．どうしてもレーザーの発生源を確かめたくなり，頭をあげると，三たび！目の鋭い痛みがあった．私は原因追求を諦めその場から去った．その当時私は，ポインターは知っていたが，レーザーが目に入ると失明することは知らなかった．「友人」と書いたが，その友人はあまり素行が良くなく，私の性格と合わないため，ほどなくして疎遠となった．状況から察するに，レーザーを照射した犯人は，「友人」あるいは近隣住人と推測されるが，どちらでもよい．大事なのは，大した理由もなく，強い悪意を持って，レーザーで失明させにくる悪人がいるということである．
「レーザーポインター」で「大した理由もなく」，「強い悪意をもって」というのは日本ではある界隈では一般的な方法である．このこのを私はこの当時，知らなかった．

This story is a famous, a kind of, just gossip. But I don't think that it is just gossip. On the contrary, I think it is almost true. It is because that I have the following my episode.
It was when I was in junior high school. I was on my way home from school by bicycle. I don't remember the time exactly. I wore winter uniform, and surroundings was gloomy. So I think it was the season between fall and winter.It was an extremely countryside with mountains and rice fields around. The street lights were a few, and the surroundings were so dark that the face became invisible 10 meters away.
When I was riding a bicycle, I stopped emergently with a sharp pain in my the eyes. I wondered if an insect entered my eyes.
